My Dear Mother
it is with grate respect that I set down to day for to inform you of my health which is very good at the present time and I am in hope that these few lines will find you all enjoying good health in taking all the comfort of life in smoking your pipe &c But I receive your letter the 5 of this month and was very glad to here from you all and to find that you was well at that time being But I see in your letter that you have some secess among you down in Hollis But I am glad that Mr Brabbury got cut short of his office from what that he expect to get of But I am smart as common at the present time and all of the rest of the Boys are very well 2 boys at present in our Co But mother I am in hope that you all will remember me and Mother I want you all to pray for ous all and give my love to all acquiring friend in Hollis Maine
But I must come to a close for this time for it is late But be shure and give them things to Saml Atkinson if you have a chance to But I ant got any news a tall But our Company are at Carrollton on Provost gard at present But how long that we shall stay I cant tell But I am in hopes that we shall stay here till our time is out for it ant about 13 months now and I shall be glad when our time is out for I am tiard of it show at present But be shure and write to me as often as you can get chance because I want to here from you every week if I can But I cant because the mail dont come in but once in a while But remember me my dear Mother in all of your prays
