Isaac W. Dyer to J. P. Chadbourne, 10 April 1877
31 1-2 Exhange Street,
Portland, April 10 1877
My dear Sir
I send you by to-day's mail the pamphlet I mentioned to you when I was in B. Everything is very quiet here and it is exceedingly dusty.
No one talks politics and I do not hear of the New Anti Ring Paper at all.
I dont fancy there will be any excitement until Congress meets in Extra session.
Charles is in Philadelphia attending to business the same as usual.
Trust you are all well and that there is peace and quiet in the metropolis of East Baldwin
This pamplet came from a pretty high source but the exact party is not known.
Very truly yours
Isaac W Dyer
