Lucretia W. Douglass
Lucretia W. Douglass (maiden name unknown) was born around 1823 in Maine. She married John Douglass, and they had at least four children: Alfred, born around 1844; Sarah, born around 1850; Elizabeth, born around 1854; and Julia, born around 1858. They also adopted a son named Walter. They lived in Thomaston, Maine, and her husband worked as a blacksmith. They moved to Exeter, Maine, in the 1850s, and by 1860, they owned $200 of real estate and $250 of personal property. A decade later, their wealth had grown to $1,000 of real estate and $550 of personal property. They moved to Corinna, Maine, in the 1860s. Her husband died in 1882, and she passed away on May 10, 1892.
