Dear Brother
Once more back to Uncle Thomases in Ind after a long & tedious march & the endurance of manny privations & hardships I left Nashville on the 2ond of March & reached this place day before yiesterday my health is improveing or rather my strength I am discharged from field duty but expect to go to General Milroy as soon as I am able he has written to my Capt. & Coln. to send me to him I am completely out of money & had to borrow to get home if you do not want to use the money I wish you would send it to me as soon as possible if you send a check direct to this place but if you express it direct to Kent Station Newton Co Ind & plese write to me as soon as you recieve this take out enough to pay you for your trouble & expenses My love to all & yourself
