Margaret Swanson
Margaret Swanson (maiden name: Lambie) was born around 1791 in Scotland. He married William Swanson, and they had at least five children: Isabella, born around 1824; George, born around 1826; Margaret, born around 1827; John, born around 1833; and James, born around 1836. They immigrated to America in 1828 aboard the Elizabeth and Mary and settled in Camden, New York. Her husband worked as a farmer there, and by 1850, they owned $1,000 of real estate. By 1860, they owned $600 of real estate and $240 of personal property, and a decade later, they owned $150 of personal property. She died in 1872.
