George Seacole
George Seacole was born on April 26, 1815, probably in London, England, to John and Ann Seacole. He married Ann Jane Stocker on March 17, 1836, and they had at least four children: John, born around 1844; Edward, born around 1851; Charlotte, born around 1853; and Elizabeth, born around 1857. They moved to Canada by the early 1840s and settled in Brooklyn, New York, by the early 1850s. He worked as an ink maker there, and by 1870, he owned $1,500 of real estate and $300 of personal property. He died sometime after 1883.
