Elizabeth Davis
Elizabeth Davis (maiden name unknown) was born around 1820 in Canada. She immigrated to New York by the early 1840s and married Hardin K. Davis. They had at least two children: George, born around 1843; and Francis, born around 1851. They lived in Oswego, New York, and her husband worked as a blacksmith. They owned $1,400 of real estate in 1850. By 1870, they owned $9,000 of real estate and $2,000 of personal property, and they employed at least one white servant. She died sometime after 1892.
