Aaron Snell
Aaron Snell was born on August 2, 1800, in New Hampshire to Thomas and Eliza Snell. By the late 1820s, he was living in Pittsfield, New Hampshire. He married Mary Nutter on February 7, 1829, and they had at least four children: Mary, born around 1833; Mercy, born around 1839; Hannah, born around 1841; and Celissa, born around 1850. They lived in Barnstead, and by 1850, he owned $700 of real estate. A decade later, he owned $1,000 of real estate and $230 of personal property. He died of dropsy in Barnstead on April 4, 1870.
