Der Sister & mother I tak the pleser in writing you a fue lines this morning to let you no that I am well at this time & I is in hops that this fue lines ma com to han in good tim and find you all well & well doin I hav nos new to writ to you at this time I is stoped in talladiga as A gard at the jale and prisen roome I hav bin her now 11 days & cant say how much longer tho i am in hops not much longer Sousan I wish you to writ to me and let me no what hav becom of anderson and all the rest of the bois I hav not herd from eny of the bois sinc I saw you I hav not bin home sinc about the first of January I cant say how the rest of mi folks is it hav bin about 2 weaks sinc I hav herd from them/
Sousan I so wish you to writ to me as son as you git this and let me no the times ther Sousan I hav just na herd som good new if it be tru it is telegraf new it is there is and armisa of ninty days I am in hops it be tru for I am very tired of the noncenc tha is a A heap of talk of peac tho I am afred it will not bee soon Sousan if you bee as good to writ to me direct yor leter to talladiga Co A hardy batalion tel Jane and Marai I woo lack very much to her her from them
