it is with gret plesure that I set don to drope to you A few line to let you know that we are all well and hope that these few line will find you the same father is to work for Mr sargent now and I am A soldeir and ingoiing my self very much and I jost receive A leter from frank and he is well
Dear sis I will sind to you my gartipe so/that you can remember me you mus tell matilda that she will have A share in it or I will send her A noter one I Dear sister as I hope have not much nuse to write I will Cose by saying good by father and muther sand thir best respect to all frome you affectonate brother

I though that I rite to you A few line to let you know that we are all well and hope that these few line will find you the same I receive your kind leter some time ago wich I mant to answerd it A good while ago but I could not so you must excuse me I spose you like to know what kind of time I have it out here well I have/very good time I go of A riding any time whin I am mint to when you see Mr Marsuld folks I want you to give them my bes respect and I like to see them all very much I live at home yet and I think that I will say till spring I exspect to kipe house this spring father want yo when you write to him to let him know wither you resive that ba book and muney muney or not from your sister Elista
