my pen in hand To rite you af ew lines to let you that i am alive and in the land of living and hope this wil find you the same and the rest of the Folks the same my health is very god now and hope this wil Find you the same I i am gowing to send you 25/dolars and Joseph is gowing to send 25 we ar gowing to send it by Jerey Goldsmith one of our company who has got his discharg and is gowing home and he is lives Ossipe pocket and he is gowing to put it in the post office their to Ossipe corner and if you don’t git it by the time you git you gow to Ossipe and/and git it and rite as soon as you git and rite al of the news and rite who you have got Town For town oficers and send me some papers For we don’t git none and dont hear nothing about war nor git now and if you git any i want you to rite it and rite if the old mair is gowing to have colt this spring and rite if you make aney sugar this spring and Wheir and rite how how Mr Leavey is/and rite all of news This is all that i have ugot to rite now rite soon So good By From your sone
