It is with pleasure i take my pen in hand to rite you afew lines to let you know that i am well and hope this wil find you the same and al the rest of the Folks the same i heard buy a letter thet Joseph from his wife that you reseaved 30 dolars that i sent sent to you and the outher ten and/the 30 that Joseph sent you had not reseaved the 10 that you got and the 20 that i sent in Ebbens & Frankins letters directed Lower Bartlett and the rest to Upper Bartlett and i dont se the reasin that you did not git but i think you have got it buy this time i hope you have
i was sory to hear that Nelson Shepard was dead but glad to hear that willing to die if it was gods will tell his folks that the his napsack and some outher thigs is hear and if they want/them i wil send to them and if not i will sell them and send the money to them if they want me to i should thought when you had got that money you had got would rote to me and let me now had reseavd part of it
i shall not send any mor untill you git that i dont think of aney more to rite now as Joseph rites all of the news rite as son as you git this and rite al of the news so god by
