Dere mother i receved your letter on the 8 and was very glad to here that you ware all well as this leves me at present whe left camp fredrick on Wedensday night and whe reht our present camp ground wich is the great batel feld of Aantetom as whe came throw sharpburg whe cold see the dameg that the shells have don to the houses i seen Gorg Brage in Washinton when we came throw and i seen William Brage when whe was on the rode to sharpburg and i shok hands with both of them and a grate many of others that i now
