Margaret Emma Wright
Margaret Emma Wright (maiden name: Bagley) was born in March 1839 in Covington, Louisiana, to William and Mary Bagley. His father worked in the lumber industry, and he owned $18,000 of real estate by 1850. She grew up and attended school in St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana, and she married George Washington Wright on April 14, 1860. They had at least seven children: Josephine, born around 1861; William, born around 1863; Hamilton, born around 1866; Laura, born around 1868; Sallie, born around 1871; Allen, born around 1876; and Mary, born around 1878.
 
They lived in Pensacola, Florida, and her husband worked as a lumber merchant. By 1870, they owned $200 of real estate and $10,000 of personal property. Her husband died on March 3, 1918. She remained in Pensacola, and she died there on October 27, 1924.
