Dear Brother

                        the laste letter that I hav recieved from home was dated the tenth of this month it came to hand one the Eighteenth pa mentioned in his of the tenth that he had just recieved one frome me of the twenty third of October this is my fifth since then I cannot act account for this I hope that you get my letters in my laste I acknowedged the reciept of my tobaco it come in good time Mr Stoaks has got his money and clothing and feels himself under many obligations to Miss Giney for her kindness I am in very good health at this time and hope that I shall pass the winter with out any very serious consequences the wether is very damp all the time wee hav had one hard freese that lasted over a weeak and expect a nother soon you must wright to me and tell me whare Uncle Jackson Frey lives in this state giv me his Post office I would like to wright to him but hav forgot whare he lives I have not heard from your arm since it was broken I wante to know if it is well wright often for I love to recieve letters frome home tell me in your next if you sent me a par of suspenders Bee a good Boy and wright often
