Thomas S. Trigg Obituary, 21 January 1898
            The Subject of this obituary was borned in this county abut April 1817 and died 17 December 1897 leking a few weaks months of being 80 years old—Br Trigg in many respects was a remarkably usefull man in his Lodge he was a usefull member and ever redy with a well stored mind to Instruct and entertain
 
Br T. S. Trigg ws mad a master mason in Fredonia Lodge F & A Masons sometime in the 50 [?] and affilliated with Hamton Lodge 137 F & A Masons the 7th of December 1859 and has remained true to the mistic tie untill called by the Grand Master to come up higher.
Therefore be it resolved 1st
 
Whereas it has pleased God in his Inscrutabe providence to remove from our beloved Brother T. S. Trigg
 
Therefor be it
resolved 1st that the masonic Lodge and the order feel this great loss wee have sustained on the removal of our Brother who has stood firm as mason Christian an neigbor Friend for so many years.
 
2nd that as an Educator in his day he was of the very Best, a large number of our Brethren being able to testefy to this fact. 3d that wee pray God to ennabl us by his grace to humbly submit to this dispinsation of his providence an that he may over rule this great bereavement / to the Spiritul Good of us all.
 
            4th that wee extend our warmest simpathey to the realatives of the deceased and that a coppy of these resolutions bee presented to his Familey and that they bee [?] on Lodg records
