Dear freand i now take my pen in hand to let you know that i am well and hope you ar enjoying the Same Comfort i ricived your and was glad to hear from you it was a good wile a go that i got your leter But i hante had time to answer it til now i rote to Jane and Euphrates that wee had our horses wee did have But they took them a way last night a bout mide night and wee hante got no horses now i dont Care wee dont haf to take care of them eny /
well i have seen a nuf of Solger if i was home i would let the war go to the duse But i never would bee a drafted man they fare a good deal wors yet than wee do i have seen that my self you rote a bout Calvan wee mis him and frank both but it cant be helpt now Samson is well and al the rest of the Boys from that way only will Quick and whare he is i dont know it is a harde plase hear to git water i remember that big tre yet i would like to see it a gane and i hope i will /
