Friend I hope that you will not be offended at my waiting so long but I have not ben at home how do you stand this hot Weather mrs Osburn has ben back som three or fore Weekes and is well the masons have head a grand picknick and We had A very nice time I am agoing out to my sisters this Weake We have not hade any Calls for dresmaking Mr N is not making much in his shop up abuve I think that I saw you the forth Was it not a splendid day i have not hade any eggnogg since you left and I have not filanderd as Much I do wish that you could have come oute heare While / I was heare I will get my face taken as soon as ican and send it to you have you smoked youre Segret yat I have one Wating for you you must excuse bad Writing for i did not have only aboute ten minets to Write in i will Write you a long letter nixt time Burn this up as son as you reach this and donte let eny one see it
