My Dear wife and childerns. yours of the 24 com to hand and I now take this pleasor of riten the anser to it. it found me all well and rite. and I hope it may fiend you and the childerns the same. benes this is sundy I haven nothing to do and I thought I would git Hughy Taylor to write a few lines to you this letter leaves us all well and harty and we haf gust had meaten hear but it was out dors tho but you have a house to have a meaten in. I would like to see you and the childerns but I cant now but if god spars my life in one year and eight monts I shell see you all if your all alive thank god to spar your lives. thank god that you haf had a good crismus for I haf had a very poor one and it is a past now but I can woush you a lovely kiss and wait till new years. I only woush I had them out hear wat you got for a crismus preson I think thay would go good. if I hant for got how good things eats I am a fraid I haf. please tell ho that millers wife is tell me ho his name is. wen I want eny thing I shell rite but I think I wont want eny thing not till spring. my gloves has not com yet and I dont think they will com nethr I thing they ar lost on the road. the talk is that we ar a going to move in a few days but ware I cant tell so I ges I have no more to rite a bout this day and I ges I shell close this letter for this time no more at preson from your hosband grant Ollinger to his wife
