But as that is imposible I must content myself by writint. has Sister Ella got able to go out, and has Mary got home how is Kate and all the rest of the famley tell them that I want them to write to me and give me all the news. For news at this place is as scarse as hen Teath. in fact, we git none at all we scarcley ever git a paper. And I receive verry few letters. I received the little hym book that you scent me. And shall take good care of it. And will read if for your sake The fancy pair of socks that you scent me I have in my trunk thay are too purtey to ware out in these Mountains I gess that I will keep them to look at or at least till I git a pair of slipers so that I can show them of to an advantage. Well as I have nothing of importance to write I will close by saying that I am well. Give my love to all and believe me your true and afectinate
