Dear Father & Mother I take this opertunety to riting yow a few lines to let yow now that I am well at presant & hoping yow are the Same pap we have got marching orders to goe to Lisebth town soe we are a going to goe to marow morning on the Cares but ther is winter quarters there for use but pap I haint got that job yet but pap I want you to get James Hase to rite for yow to Capton J H Wing a bout that Job they promest me be fore I left home & if they dont give me that job I am a coming home for I dont want mother greaving after me but if / I get that job I will be all rite but if I dont I wont be satisfide a tall but pap we all got a beag diner in Louisville but pap I would like to have yow with us ther all the boys sed they wanted you to come to Louisville with ouse but pap tell Isac Pery to rite for I aint got aleter since I bin in the armey onley from mother
