Dear Brother I take my pen in hand to writing yow a few lines to let yow now that I am well at presant but lurestin I reseaved youre kind leter and was glad to hear from yow but Lurestin I wood like to se yow but mebey I will be fore long but Lurestin I will get paid off pirty soon but tell mother that when I get my money I will send hit to her but if she wants to [?] hit usee hit she can use hit for eney thing she wants hit but I dont think I will have very much for / they are a going to take out ove my wages for clothing but I wont have very much but L I think there will be no fiting here but oure men did run the Rebls the other day but Lu I aint got very much to tell yow but the wethe her is very nice her but tell uncel Dan that we have moved our selves up in the woods on the left hand side of the rail Road but we dont now how long we will stay her but that is all at presant
