            Dear Brother I take my pen in hand to let yow now that I am well at presant and I reseaved youre kind letter on the 2 of March well lurestin we left Bowling Green a bout one week a go and we started for Nashville and we run the rebles a way from there and they cut down a wire Bridge hit looked a little like the wheeling Bridge but we are campt 5 miles south of Nashvill and the rebles kild one of / the 4 ohio calvery capt and then they run but the next day we went out on a Skout and we run the Rebles 20 miles of and then we came back but oure me captured a bout one thousand dolars worth of meet and oll the crackers but that I ever saw they must of bin 2 thousand barles of crackers and Shugar but we have bin a living on the Rebles pervisons for 3 weeks and we have got plenty of thing to eat but that box that you sent me I havent got / yet but I think that I will get hit yet but lurestin yow told me that Isaac Hall wanted me to write to him but I for get the plase where he was but when yow write tell me where he is but tell talor Hall to tel write to me and I will write to him and tell uncel albert to write to me and I will write I wrote to him at camp Jefferson but I dont know wether he got hit or not but old David McCartney was with us a while / but that is oll at presant write soon direct youre letter to Nashvill Tennessee in care of capt J H Wing Co B 3d ohio redgt ovm
