Dear Mother I now take the pleasure of ancering youre kind and welcom letter of the 4 it came to hand on the 10 and I was glad to her that frances was a geting better and yow was well but Mother ther was a man drumbd out the other day His name was John T Hall he belongd to Co A of oure Regiment I will tell yow wot he got drmb out for he went up into Huntsvill and got drunk and bought him self a new Soot / of clothes and tride to pass him self of for a Colonel and nockt colonel Burk down and the provost guard guards took him & put him in jail well Mother yow sed that John Gohlier come pirty near a ciling a nigars I want to no wether web Folger has gon or not but Mother yow wanted to wher Brack Mohannah is dont know wher he is but he is taking prisnars and tell his mother to not be fritind for he will get home soon if they let him go atall but Mother I am a fraid that pap will haft to go and if he / dos I am a going to come home but he wont if thay no I am in the armey but tell J. B. Williams that I want him to right to me but Elley Hall did arive here yesterday evning he left columbus the day yow wrote the letter but William Robins has bin her for some time he is well and he sed he was a coming home So no more at presant write Soone
Send me that stamp in the next letter but that testment I want bad direct the Same as yow did be fore
