William Pitt Waldo
William Pitt Waldo was born on May 15, 1810, in Royalton, Vermont, to Zacheriah and Abigail Waldo. He married Mary Talbot on October 3, 1842, and they had at least two children: Alfred, born around 1844; and Samuel, born around 1848. They lived in Stoughton, Massachusetts, and Waldo worked as a bootmaker. By 1850, he owned $1,500 of real estate. Two decades later, he owned $2,000 of real estate and $1,500 of personal property. He died of heart failure and old age in Stoughton on July 26, 1895.
