Dear Sister All
I now take my pen in hand for to ask you where all of them letters is that you was agoing to write to me. the last letter that I received from you was on the 10th of February last. but I am still a looking for some from you every time the mail comes in witch is every afternoon. there is nothing new around / here at presant except it has been stormy for a day or two back and it is now quite mudy but nothing strange for us. there is more reenlisting going on yet and more bounty.
(would not you laughf to see me reenlisting and comeing home on a sixty days furlow)
they can enlist in the regulars for 5 years or in the Veterans Volenteers for 3 years witch would you advise me to do.
I will wait an answer to this before I take either so you must write soon / and give me your advise and then I will see how it compaires with mine.
I have just come in of off fatigue a cleaning up the Camp. I cant think of any thing else to rite at presant so I will have to Close.
I am in the best of health and spirits at presant and hope this will find you right side up with care
I want to hear from you as soon as received.
