I would like to of been there to of seen him and have a good talk with him. you say that you was out on the forth of July up to the point with—I gess I wont say who. but I was glad to hear / that your health was so as to permit it. that letter that I received from father had a card in it I was very glad to get it. the one that I sent you was picked up in the wilderness after the second first days fight by my tent mate and he gave it to me. so I sent it to you as a relick of the battle field. and I can send you one unknown that I found after the same fight was over witch I will send you in this so you can have one more if you wish for your album.
