Dear Sir
It is with grate pleashyre that I find my self able to stand up like the Dutch man’s wife and wright you afew lines. I would say to you that I am hear an likely to stay hear for they have quit giving fulloughs to my sort and so you see I am well Er but I dont know how long I will remain so I have to expose my self so much that I am afraid it will come up shure. I am as sleapy as if I had just left a frollick. I have just come off of guard this morning and it makes me feel / bad shure. you would thin we have fun heare but when it rains like it did yesterday I would as soon be in hell the same length of time as to be a privet in the army shure. they have drumed two men out of servise heare one of them they gave hell shure
This is one of the places whear men have to keepe their eyes open to keep from being imposed on. If you dont watch them they will play off on you and you will have to do more than your sear. I want you to wright to me as soon as you get this and post me in the war matters, for I lurn that you have more excitement thare in one day than we have in a wek. We have heard so much camp nuse that, I dont bele the /trutt unless I hear it. One regment has been moved from hear and it went on towards chattanooga but did not move whear they was orderd to go towa. they was told that they was to receive orders on the road whear they would go to. We have not heard from them yet we are looking for an answer from some of the boys. James Clark was hear afew days ago and he can post you better than I can. I know he was fool of nuse when he got thare. I will wright to you gan soon, wright to me and tell the rest to wright to me and I will post them with the trouth
