Dear cousin or cousins I take the present oportunity to inform you that I am well at present hoping that those few may find you both enjoying the same great blessing I have nothing of any importance to write at present but I thought I would write a few lines to let you know that I am still on the land of the living with the right and up I have been looking for a letter from you for some time but look was my master I will inform you that I have had a very hard spell of sickness since you left. I would not be surprised much if you got william Cauble for a brotherinlaw from the movements at this time Emily caught a fine beau the other nigh mister rippie and Julia said that she site up to him like a sick kiten to a hot Pan Emily has got to be very poplar among the boys I will inform you that I am a going up to philidelphia to teah school and I want you write to me if you want too and I will try to write the best I can so no more at present I give my best wishes to you and all inquring friends over /
