Fiend Albert I tak my pen in hand to inform you that I am well at the present time and hoping that thies few lines may find you all inJoying the same besing I must tell you something a bout the times there Albert I think that you had better come back and tento old Johney Colglazier he has bin a Cutting up as bad as when you was down thare Wm Colglazier had a Chauping and a quilting and becka Jane did not go home and old John come after / her and he Just tuck on to a high rate he sed that he was a Cristian and he was a serving the lord I think that he serves the lord a part the time and the devil the other part of the time for he dos not know whose hands he ma fawl into Albert we have got out of the brush and have nothing to dwo times is very hard hear the peple is a feard to go to bilding I have bin a runing a bout for a week or two i am at home to night I am a goin to Campbellsburg to morrow and was nearly in the notion to come out thare a monday but I cant come I recon I would like to know how the times is out thare if times dos not git / better and work plentey I am a goin to leave for som other parts I have nothing worth any thing to right to you I want you to right to mee and let mee know how the times is out thare so no more at the present William B Cauble

William Forder I will right you a few lines to let you know how yur friends ar your grandfather and grand mother ar both very bad and cant last mutch longer if they dont get better they cant turn them selves in the bed the rest of your friends ar all well the times is very hard hear at present thare is grate excitement here they held a union meeting last satturday but it was not / mutch at last they ar fixing to muster they was to comens ther muster in Salem to day I dont now whether they did or not I think that times will git better before long if thy dont thar is a heap of peple that will go by the bord thare is no sutch a thing as to git any money here mitchell and Combs have just got ther mill started this week it dos fine bisness will I want you to rigt soon and tell mee how the times ar out thare give my best respcts to the friends and except the the same your self you can tell Julia and albert that Mandy green and Joseph Zink is Maried and gone to the ilinois
