My Dear Brother and Sister and friends I again sit down this good sabbath evening to wright a fiew lines to you hoping when they come to hand they will find you all well and doing well as thanks to the good being it leaves us all well at presant Poor old grand pap is dead he died yesterday a bout one Oclock and was buried at two Oclock to day and grana is no beter She can not last much longer I guess you herd about jane tercey’s Dying She Died very sudent her funeral was preeched two weeks ago to Day I am very sorry to here that you have lost one of your finest nabers to I must now tell you a little a bout what I am doing I am working for Will there is only five of us a working to geather me & Will & Com & bob & george we are working fat hi Perlee’s a building him a house a two story 36 feet long by 18 wide with an Ell Kitchen and porche we have been working a week and we have got it / raised I am geting $14.00 a month bob & george $18.00 a beace our next place will be at add Rights we have a barn to build for him I guess we will get plenty of work to do but times is dull down here I guess times is very good out there but I have not got are a leter from any of you since I came home I am a bout as mat as I’s a goung to get when you get these fiew lines I want you to wright me a leter as long as my arm I wrote a leter as soon as I got home as I promist and I ought to have writen before now but i did not have time I want you to tell Albert Booker that I have not had time to wright to him but I will wright soon and to Ira to Now I must come to a close for the presant for all of the rest of the folks is in bed and a sleep and I am a scribling a way there is not much nuse on the creek now I beleave the chat is that harvy Richardson is a going to get married Well Julia i hope you are bter satistfied than you was when I left there I want you to wright me a leter and tell me all the fun you have out there and how you and the boys gets a long &C &C well Sarah I would like to see how fat you are getting you must all right soon as you can So farewell your ever affectionate brother Albert Forder
