            My Dear and oftind rememberd Sisters I this pleasant eavning pick up my pen to write in answer to youre most kind and welcom missiles that came to hand one week a go to day and was gladly resaved and red I was glad to hear that you was all well and I am all so hapy to tell you that we are all well all tho I hav had a very severe time with new ralgie I had it in the left side of my head there was nearly two weeks that I could hardly eat or sleep my jaw gathard and broke and then it got better and last week / one of my double teeth got to aching on the other side and it made me so mad I could a swore if it would a done any good but I soon had that stoped I got an old doll and went to town and had it pulled out it pulled real hard but it is done with now and I am glad of it
 
well Sarah I am sorrow that you cant come out for you dont know how well I would love to see some of you but I do hope that youre penchion will come before long and then you wont hav any excuse for not coming you sed that aunt had gone back to warling did she get mad or what happind I want to no I am glad that she is gone O Sarah you sed for me to come home some day and to take dinner and I could hav honey to eat well I wish that you knew / how well I would love to come home I often think of home and pap and mother o how well I would love to be thar as I am riting this line but that cant be so I just content my self as best I can and weight patiently until I can come
 
Sarah you sed that tom Kelsies wife was ded pore tom I feel sorrow for him but I hope that god will give him grace suffishent for his day and trial por boy his has bin a life of trouble but if he is feithful a little while longer his troubles will end and he can live with his loving companion for ever and ever ant that a happy thought to think a fiew more days or years at most and we shal reach fair cannons shore and in that holy happy land there we will take nomore the parting hand /
 
well Sarah I made ellas red dress like lissies and it fits very well and I think that it is so prity I will send you one of the buttons like it is trimmed in it lacks one of having three dozen on it well Sarah you sed there was so much fruit there so there is here we ant got but fore or five curnt bushes but we hav got a good neighbor that lets us hav all we want we will hav rite smart cherries and appels enouthg to do us well lissie I would love to see you so well bless youre little sole I wish you could see youre little cousin She is so mean I whip her six times a day I cant get her to walk and I cant keep her in the hous she crawls all over the yare and gets as dirty as a pig I wish that you would come over and lurn her to walk if you will I will by you a new dres with butter and you may hav all of the butter and bred that you want well Sarah I guess I must close for this time and write some to mother and em and I will tell you the rest when you come I could write all day and not writ all I want to but I will close I want you to writ soon and oftin and come as soon as you can tell us something a bout fathers if you no anything
