Dear Sarah I rote you a few lines since we come hear and I told you if we stad hear 3 or 4 days I would rite again I hope thoes few lines will finde you and our little Girl & all the rest of the friends well as I am happy to informe you that I am still a live and well I have had a very bad cold for a few days but I am all rite / again thank God
It is very disagreable hear now the air is quite cold and blow my strong from the North and it is very dusty their hasent ben any rain for some time
the arrangements are to start for Chattanooga day after to morow I am ancious to get started back for it will take us several days to go threw and we cant get any letters untill we get back /
Jim Mc and all the rest of the boys are well except Pery Cuningham he is not well but that is a natural consequence with all recruits
I will close for this time May the God of heaven watch over us and spare us to meet to enjoy each others society is my Prayer so good by for this time
