Dear Father and mother Sisters and Brothers I this Eavning seat my self to try to answer your very kind and welcomed letter which I received in dew time I was glad to here from you once more and to here you was all well and doing well as I am thank to tell you that I am well with the exception of bad coald I am not at Campbellsburg now I am at Sols now I com down here last Friday and am going back to morrow it is rite cold here now there is a big snow on the ground at this time
Well I have not got much to write but thout I would try to / write a little I would love to see you all so well it apers like it has bin so long since I saw any of you but I think if I live it wont be very long untill I will see you all a gain Well Sarah I would love to be out there to see the New Carpet and that nice hous and I would a love to of bin at that oyester supper I went to a oyster super on Saturday knight be fore Christmas and saw a rite nice time and there was one in town the same knight that won was out their but I never went they had a dance after supper and I thout I would not go
Well we have got severl letters from Jim he was well when he rote Well Julia have you herd from Jim yet we have never herd from him / for purtneer 3 months but I do hope he is alive and well if you have herd from him I want you to write and tell me
Well mother bills pore little children is just scatterd around threw the world pore little things is nearly naked I am a going to take nancy to martens to morrow when I go home and old friend Jaky ses if I will go and get Doshie when I go to town he will take hur and keep hur till bill comes home and I am a going to try to get hur to morrow when I go to town to get on the train to go to Sarahs and if Nance dont let me have her she had better for they will take good care of hur Well mother I am glad to here that you have got close to / meeting I would like to be out their to go to Church with you I must tell you that Sarah was purtneer mad at me when I com a way from their I went to spelling the knight before I started down here and she told me before I started that I should not go and I dun up the work and went with the girls and she would not speak to me when I got back know I can tell you if I cant go where I pleas when I have dun all of the work I will com home and if she tells me any other time I shant go any place I am a going to tell hur I am a going home when ever I say I would like to go home she tells me to go she dont care I want you to write to me I will be at Campbelsburg I still hope to remain your loving daughter untill death
