Friend Jacob I now seate my self to rite you a fiew lines to inform you that I am well as common and I hope that these fiew lines will find you the same I have never received a leter from you since I came home I gess you dident get mine so I thought I would rite to you this eavening Well Jake I would like to come out and see all the folks a gain but I gess that I will not come this fall but if nothing hapens I think I will come out next fall and wrent me a plais and make my home with you Montgomery people for I think a good deal of the people out there I would like to help you wheal dirt up them planks a day or to if I dident cork / my self Well how dose my oald bootes gets a long have you got them hung up in the new barn yet if you have you must put them where Dobelly caint see them they might make him loose his coalt Well while I am a riting a bout oald boots I would like to know how Sarah and hur boots is a geting a long now and if you and Emily is a going to get married this winter I heard that Emily was at Camelsburg but I haint had time to go down to see hur yet but I think I will soon if she dont come up to see me prety son I want you to give my best respects to all Georges Hubbard Folkes when you see them tell them that we are all well and that I will rite to them soon Sometimes I think that I will come out this winter and then I think that I had beter wait till next fall and then come to stay for I caint leave the oald / woman Well Jacob I want one Faiver of you if you grant it you will a blige me very mutch I want you to send me 50 Dollars for one or to years if you please I will send a blank in this if I can get it with my name sind to it I will leave it for you to fill fill out I think that I can trust you to fill it I will pay you promply when the note comes dewe with intrust from date I want you to send as son as posable if you see fitt to lete me have it you promiste to lend me some if I wanted it I will be very thankeful if you will let me have it i think you have ben with me a nuff to kow my disposition I want to try to live honest if I thought that I could not pay you back your money when it is dieu I would not borow one sent of it I would like to have it by the first next month if posibel if you send it / send it by Express and if you dont want to trust me with your money rite to me as son as you get this so that I can know what to depend upon and if you send it rite me a leter so that I can get it without delay Well I must close for this time so good by
