Dear friend i am as well as comon and i hope that thease few lines will find you the same when i wrote the other letter i was in a hurrey and i could not think of mutch nor wright mutch we went here out on advanse gard the ot day the rebils fired their shells at us and we laid on our the groud and let them fire and the next day we went on picket. We hav not seen mutch of fighting yet but we hav some work to do. we ar in a good in campment so we do not care as mutch as we should if we had not a good wone. tell george churchil that i hope that he is agiting a well long with his family as fast as posable for they want soldier yet.
