Dear Sister All
it is with pleasure that I now take to rite a line to you, to let you know that we are still a live and in quite good health, and hope that this will find you and all of the rest the same. we are encamped now at sulfer springs / we was out on picket on monday and came in yesterday. it was very hot and close both yesterday and day before, but we had a perty hard shower last night witch makes it mutch more pleasant to day we received a very good representation of yourself some time ago in one of fathers letters witch we think is very good. / I wish that we could get in some place or other were we could get ours and send them to you all but we have no chance at all, so we cant get any. we have five of our family here now be sides our selves, and now you must try to get the rest of them on here to us. /
there is no news a going on around here so I cant tell you any news, but if you was here you could get a plenty of sulpher water to drink, but I dont think that you would like it. I must close so no more at presant
Your Affectionate Brother
