Annie E. Rundall was born on September 15, 1842, in Newburyport, Massachusetts, to John and Elizabeth Rundall. Her father was a bank cashier who owned $5,000 of personal property by 1860. The family lived in Quincy, Massachusetts, and she married William L. Faxon on October 15, 1863. They had at least four children: John, born around 1864; Florence, born around 1871; Harold, born around 1874; and Randall, born around 1878. They moved to Chicago, Illinois, in the 1860s, and her husband worked as a doctor. By 1870, they owned $500 of personal property. They returned to Quincy in the 1870s. Her husband died on January 19, 1910, and she died of heart disease in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, on September 25, 1911.
