My Dear Wife and Childern i rite a few to let you know that i am Well and hope this may find you all the same you Wanted to how William fleming got shot he was on picket and the Rebels at nite crawld on him and shot throu the lungs he is very lo at presant not espected to live his father is hear at presant he cant live so said the doctor to day but dont tell his mother till his father comes home keep this to your selvs /
 
i rote theas few lines and was a ging to send it by male but mister fleming cume to camp and so i send it by him
