Good Evening All.
                             Just a moment I catch up my pen to write a line to you though have got no letter from you since I got the Box but that dont make any difference as I want to write I am well at present & just a fatting all tho the was some [?] good share of the provisions spoild I have got visitors from the 154 & have got to grete same [?] Rogers & Crane & I are doing the best we ever wer before Rogers & Crane has sent after a box now so if we stay here long we will enjoy our selves. I recieved a letter from Mary Wood yesterday & was glad to hear from them / & shall answer it soon if Em is at home I want you to hand this Directions to him & if he is not you can hand it to Edd I have bin looking for a letter from Em now for the past 2 weeks for cant think where he is on the account poor of the account of not writing. well if you can read this you can do better than I can a writing I am a going to send a small package home I want you to lock it up in my trunk & not let any one git it
 
I shall haft to stop write for dinner so please write often as 3 or 4 times a week &c &c to Father & you all from E. E. Brown
