Dear Sone I received your letter yesterday containing 50cts I have been getting lots of letters these few days back and I feel good over it I have but little to write today I have good news to write our company came back last evening from a scout of 7 days and today we got pay I got $48.50 they are paying off now it is a good time among the boys now I dont kno what to do with mine I think I will keep it a few days and try if I cant get a furlow and bring it home / I have the promis of one as soon as they commence giveing them if I can I will try anyhow to get one next week and come home if not I will try and send it some way I will close this time and write in a few days and then I can tell better what I can do no more I hope you are all well as I am
