Struck our tents at 3 oclock one man shot in the arm by the careless use of a revolver the Colonel forbid the men to carry them

broke up cam
started for Washington and was not very well to day. Went on board the steam boat at Allens Point Norwich Conn
 
Wednesday 30
arrived in Jersey City at 9 oclock in the morning Started for Philadelphia at noon arrived at PM 7 oclock PM rode all night

Pitched our tents to day
 
Saturday 2
started on a march to lower Marlborough and marched to Centerville and encamped in the woods. Was rather tired and lame and slept cold

Monday 4
started again and went almost 28 miles had a long march to day and encamped in the woods about 3 miles this of lower Marlborough and was tired and lame.

did not march to day and rested all day

did not march any to day but was called out to received the General
 
Thursday 7
started for the camp to day and encamped in the woods at night had roast beef for supper

Started again to day and reached camp about 9 oclock P.M. Was all tired out and sick

Mr Stubbs came into our camp to day and staid all night here

attended a funeral of one of the Privates of Co C. first death in the regt since we come into camp
