Dear Mother i now Set down to write you A few lines to let you know that i am well and fat as a pig and If you donte believe i am just look at me i am Agoing to write pa a letter to day the male has come in to town to day but it has not come to camp yet i think they must be some letters thare for me And when i get them i will write some more i told tunks in her letter that i would Send her my likness / But i will send it to you all i have sent my women my likeness to and if you gett it you must give it to her my likness did not take vary good it is so Black how do you think I look any way dont you think i look pretty fat and healthy give my best respects to grace and show her my piture i cant think of no more this time so i will close my letter by wishing you all good luck write soon as you get this
