Dear parents tis with Great pleasher that i rite to let you no that i am well and hope thes few lines will find you the same to i have got a siff neck to day But that aint eney thing hear you no dont you James McGeffons got a letter from John Capen he wanted to no whare i was jest tell him none of his dam buisness nor it wont be till he answers my letter for i no that he got it for you sed so in one of your letters Jest tell him to think what he sed about riting to me when i left home / When you get this you may tell him that i dont care if he dont ever right to me for i am jest as inderpendent as he is i dont care if i never see him again you may let him see this if you pleas to New years was as warm as the devel hear we hadto take of our cots if we did work eney it is nice weather hear now you may give my love to all the frends take some your self to if you pleas When you right right all the news you can find to right i dont / think of much to rite now John Naylor has hirt his knee pirty bad to he but it out of joint and craced the bone to he fell with alog on his back When he don it to
