Dear parents i has ben som time sence i have hearn from you i have rote 3 or 4 letters but dont get eney answer from them nor i hant got the box yet but it is down to the ships si hear but the teams hant boght it up hear yet We have had a number of hot times hear youno But nothing to what we exspect to have soon in order to get in to Richmond But i cant right all of the paticlers about it bcous we had an order red to ous not to right eney dicriptionz of the works hear so we / cant lit you no eney thing of it hear onley it is a hard plase hear i tell you But you no that the armey of the Potomac never was checked nor it cant be eather Gorge B. McClelland is the man for me Sir When you right right all the news to me right soon give my love to all my frends so good
