My Dear Brother
We Recd your letter to Mother and were very glad to hear that you were well and that you were having a nice time You said you thoght it was news about us buying three houses well I will tell you something that will be more news still Mother is not in Cinti but W.T. New York she has been gone about eight days and intends to come home about the 10th We received a letter this morning she was well and had a very nice trip.
Well about the houses they are three splendid three story houses on the South side of Lamal 10 rooms Bath room and all fine from top to bottom. We are all well and hope this will find you the same / there are several cases of the Cholera in the city but we all hope it will not be bad Mary & Maggie Herron are the housekeeper now they get along first rate. I am rather short of funds but will send you 50¢ now and some more soon
