Dear Brother
We recd your letter on the 26th and was glad to hear from you and to hear that you were well You said you would like to come home if there was no danger well I think there is none and I will tell you what to do You just write and tell Mother that you do not want to wait and I guess she will send you the money. Mr Gilmor started last night and says he will be gone a week or ten days. We are all busy now I have been very busy the last week as Lonigan has not been here at all so I had to do his work and my own. I suppose we will hardly know you when you get home if you do not come home with brown cheeks you will have to paint them for we dont want any more white cheeks around here I recd a letter from / Uncle Samuel he is to start for Mo in about two weeks and if he settles I will go out to and work with him he sent me ten boxes of Collers. We are all well and send love
Your affect Brother
J McKinney
