I have got throuh with the horses and have returned to my company. I was out about 5 weeks. I liked it very well / for it was not so hard work I will tell you what we have to do Sunday mornings. we have a company inspection that is we have to pack up all our things and clean our guns & brasses and have our boots blacked and sling our knapsacks and go out and the Capt looks at our guns, and and all our cloths and woe to the man that does not have every thing in good shape it takes about one hour to get over with it and then we have the rest of the day to your selfs if it is not our turn to go on guard. we are on inspection about the time that you are going to meeting when you see the folks / going to meting you think of John with his knapsack on his back but if our time is out the 15th of June I shall soon be at home with you and I hope it is so.
