my Dear Sister itake my pen in hand to let you no we air all well but Sister Saly is sick yet but ido hop to god this letter will find you and you litle childern well and doing well ihant heard from brother john sense igot a letter from you well my Dear Sister you sea in your letter that you wanted to no what father died with he died with the palzy he was taken on Sundy morn and if he had of lived till the next Sondy he would of binn sick too weekes and when he was forst taken he had apane in his sholder and it looked like he couldent live and well naiy he died at my house and ituck all the care of him icould iam maken my crope and ihave got fore acore 12 corne and ihave got 1 acor of wheat and rie and ihave got agood garden ihave got to tell you abot fathers and Mother toom Stoones ihave got them made and they will bee soon bee redy to put up and there air nice iam agonto have them / fixt up nice they do cose forty six Dollars an and Sisters amey famly is all well well Dear Sister they air agonto draft heare and it will take one hunderd and fifty men out of every Co now iwant you to rite to me when you heard from John and iwant you to rite to me as soon as you git this letter well isaw uncle james ones and all of his famaly is well well nancy ihave got girles and iwant you to heary and rase up your boyes for my girles well rity ann isend you my love and best respect and iwant you to rite to me and when this you sea rember me well John ido want to see you do I see hardes times well ritiy ann iwant you to mail this to john if you plese
