Dear husband what would I give to see you this night o when will the time come when we shall meet again on earth o John dont give up try try again mabe you can git a ferlo when them others rascals gits back do like they did cry a little I would make them think I was crazy or something till I would git off do write soon and often send me word when you think your rig will be discharged you spoke of sending some clothing if you have more than you need you had better send it home but keep enough to keep you warm /
